2007 WSU NxLEVEL Business Owners Graduate

On December 21 nineteen local entrepreneurs graduated from an eleven week
NxLevel Business Planning course offered by WSU Jefferson County.

90% of the new jobs in rural America in the last decade have been started by entrepreneurs.
Growing the new economy requires innovative entrepreneurs
with dreams for business start ups and expansion. About 1/2 the class was already in business and looking to expand. The others were just starting up new companies or were looking to transition to another industry.

The industry clusters represented in the class were very diverse from toy manufacturing to textiles, from boat building to home improvement.

"This course was sensational". . . " I would highly recommend this course".
"Jim Williams was just great every week and the guest speakers were tops"
