How to use this winter to re-energize your entrepreneurial spirit!
Ready to bring new spark to your business? Want some fresh ideas to help your small business through a slow winter? Team Jefferson is offering a business workshop and local business owners’ panel discussion January 30, 9 am – 12 pm at the WSU Spruce Room.
Come hear small business coaches, local experts, serial entrepreneurs and small business owners share their stories and ideas for weathering a slow winter season in Jefferson County. Learn about the concept of “co-opetition,” or cooperative competition; hear about creative financing opportunities; get the scoop on how social marketing and new media can work for you; ask questions and connect with opportunities for technical assistance. Hear about ideas for small changes that can bring energy back into your business.
Sometimes small business owners feel isolated from a support network of new ideas. The January 30 workshop will kick off a new Team Jefferson sponsored ‘Jefferson Entrepreneur Network.’ Hear about the successful Northwest Entrepreneur Network (www.nwen.org) and learn how Team Jefferson plans to support small businesses with the creation of a local group to broaden your business network, get the creative juices flowing, and cross-pollinate ideas.
Research shows entrepreneurial networks are key to promoting entrepreneurial vitality in communities; they serve to foster commitment, trust, and enhance connectivity and healthy interdependence.
New businesses, old businesses, social entrepreneurs, arts entrepreneurs, would-be entrepreneurs, all are welcome!
9 am – 12 pm, WSU Spruce Room. Cost is $10; light refreshments will be served. Contact Shelby at EDC Team Jefferson for more info, or to RSVP: 379-5610 x 222 / shelby@jefferson.wsu.edu. Co-sponsored by the Jefferson County Chamber, and PT Main Street.
