Is it possible that the City of Port Townsend, the Port of Port Townsend, and Jefferson County leaders can come together and develop a shared economic vision??? Is it reasonable to expect these agencies to put their differences behind them and decide to work together for the common interests of the entire community?
The City, County and Port are asked to collaborate and avoid competition to help local businesses get started, have land and infrastructure to expand. . . Too often business feels unwanted and unappreciated in Jefferson County
The best way to grow the local tax base is to grow the local businesses . . stay tuned. This fall you will be asked for ideas-- public conversations-- funding-- let's see if we can set a new tone!!!
