Innovative organizational framework
Most EDCs have paid business memberships to support their efforts. Our innovative approach uses enterprise development principles instead. Team Jefferson’s volunteer TEAM shares leadership, expertise and management responsibilities. We are energetic community leaders, volunteers, entrepreneurs and retired business executives.
In a unique move for an EDC, Team Jefferson is nested within Washington State University, a major research driver for Washington. We receive support significant contribution and investment from our local WSU Jefferson County Extension.
